Q:  How can I know more about the different phases of Primary 1 Registration?

STUDENT CARE

Q: Are student care services available in Pioneer Primary School?

A: Yes, the school student care is operated by Star Campus Pte Ltd.

2020 P1 ORIENTATION DAY

Q: When will be the P1 Orientation Day?

A: The P1 Orientation Day will be held on 23rd November 2020, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Parents/Guardians are strongly encouraged to attend.


SCHOOL FEES

Q: How much do I have to pay for monthly school and miscellaneous fees?

A: The rates of school and miscellaneous fees payable are reviewed by the Ministry of Education and individual schools from time to time.

The current school and miscellaneous fees payable are shown in the table below:

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Q: Am I eligible for financial assistance?

A: Singapore Citizens in financial need can get assistance from MOE on school fees and other expenses. This applies to government, government-aided, specialised and some independent schools.

Q: What are the benefits for students under the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS)?

A: Some of the benefits enjoyed by MOE FAS students include free textbooks and school attire (2 sets of uniform, 2 sets of PE attire, 2 pairs of socks, 1 pair of shoes). Students may also receive school meal and transport subsidies and also purchase computer at a subsidized rate.


SPECIAL EDUCATION NEEDS

Q: What support is available for child with special educational needs?

A: Children with special educational needs may require additional support in school.

EDUSAVE ACCOUNT

Q: How much Edusave will my child receive and what can it be used for?

A: Every Singapore Citizen (SC) will have an Edusave account created automatically for them.

For SCs in MOE-funded schools, they will receive annual contributions from the start of their primary school education until they complete their secondary school education. A primary school student will receive $230 in their Edusave account.

Your child can use their Edusave funds for:

a)      Enrichment programmes organised by their schools

b)      2nd-tier miscellaneous fees.

c)      Miscellaneous fees for autonomous government and government-aided schools.
